Fast air-drying corrosion protection for steel and cast iron
AK PRIMER 330 is a one-component alkyd primer for steel and cast iron. It air-dries without a separate hardener and uses active anti-corrosion pigments to provide a protective base for the specified finishing coats. This makes it a practical option for work organised around an air-drying coating system.
The primer offers adhesion and mechanical resistance, and the TDS describes brush, roller and spray application. It can be overcoated with alkyd, polyvinyl or chlorinated-rubber enamels. Plan the coating sequence carefully around the specified recoat window to maintain compatibility between layers.
Before you specify: For intermittent water and chemical exposure only; not for permanent immersion. Recoat within 1-5 hours or after 7 days, as specified in the TDS.
