One-component wash primer for mixed-metal work
PROTECT 341 is a one-component PVC epoxy wash primer for vehicles, machinery and equipment. Its anti-corrosion pigments and adhesion properties make it a useful starting layer on prepared steel, galvanised steel and aluminium. THIN 50 adjusts the product for the specified spray application.
Choose it for a metal-priming route that can accept acrylic topcoats, basecoat paints, acrylic primers or anti-gravel products. The product combines corrosion protection with mechanical resistance, while pneumatic and air-assisted airless application options accommodate different workshop equipment. Select the thinner and dilution to suit the application conditions.
Before you specify: Do not apply polyester putty, epoxy primer or acrylic clearcoat directly over PROTECT 341. Observe the specified minimum film thickness and the 48-hour maximum interval before the next coating.

THIN 50 STANDARD and FAST are thinners, not hardeners. Select dilution and temperature conditions from the TDS.
