Epoxy corrosion protection with substrate-specific hardeners

PROTECT 360 TIX is a fast-drying epoxy anti-corrosion primer for transport vehicles, machinery, steel structures and tank exteriors. It supports thick-film application and combines good hiding and flow with chemical and mechanical resistance, giving it a practical role beneath the finishing coat.

Choose it when the project includes different prepared substrates and the hardener needs to match the job. H5960 is offered in standard and fast versions, while H5950 is specified for aluminium. The substrate list also includes galvanised and stainless steel, existing coatings, polyester putties and laminates.

Before you specify: Use H5950 for aluminium and follow its different mixing ratio. Minimum epoxy-primer thickness is 80 micrometres on steel and 60 on aluminium; the maximum overcoating interval without matting is 48 hours.

Hardener & mixing selection

H5950 is the dedicated hardener for aluminium. The H5950 mixture is 1:1 by volume; H5960 mixtures are 4:1.
