The specified thinner for the ARMOR epoxy primer
ARMORTHIN EP 20-01 is the thinner named in the ARMORPRIMER EP 2000-20 technical data sheet. Choose it when preparing that primer with ARMORHARDENER EP 200-20, keeping the application mixture within the manufacturer’s specified component system.
The primer sheet gives a 15% thinner addition by volume, calculated from the primer quantity, and identifies the same thinner for cleaning application equipment. This makes its role clear at both mixing and clean-up stages, with the working method governed by the primer instructions.
Before you specify: Follow the exact volume or weight schedule in the primer TDS; the percentages are not interchangeable. Consult the thinner SDS for safe handling.
