ARMORTOPCOAT PU 4000-10 is a two-component polyurethane paint for applying camouflage patterns to military vehicles and equipment. Its matt finish is available in green 6031, brown 8027 and black 9021.
Its distinguishing feature is integrated anti-corrosion protection: the technical data sheet permits direct application to properly prepared, spot-sanded steel. It also lists epoxy primers and prepared old paint coatings as substrates, making it an option for coating schedules that need to address both existing paint and locally exposed steel.
Before you specify: Direct application does not remove the specified cleaning and surface-preparation requirements. Confirm the coating schedule against the TDS; the system uses an isocyanate hardener.
