EP PRIMER 310 is a two-component epoxy primer for steel, aluminium and galvanized steel in indoor and outdoor applications. Its barrier properties, ability to build thicker layers and anti-corrosion performance make it useful where a substantial protective primer coat is needed beneath the finish.
The coating combines good hiding power and flow with chemical and mechanical resistance. The TDS covers brush, roller and spray application, using EP HARD hardener and THIN 60 epoxy thinner. Substrate-specific preparation is important, particularly for galvanized steel and existing coatings, to establish a sound base for the system.
Before you specify: Use the specified EP HARD/THIN 60 system and at least 80 µm primer thickness on steel. Chemical resistance is stated for intermittent splashes and sprays; continuous chemical exposure is not established by this TDS.
